Communication with the hosts was super easy and prompt. The apartment had a unique layout, but made great use of space. Loved the treats on arrival! The location was jaw-droppingly central, with easy access to the city and public transport. The property was very secure and incredibly clean. The additional extras provided, like tea, coffee, and even bubbly, were mind-blowing. The host was wonderful, providing all the necessary information ahead of our arrival. The apartment had two full bathrooms, which was a great surprise. We didn't need our car at all since we could walk everywhere in the city. No issues!

Spacious and well-equipped kitchen: With a microwave and a fridge, the kitchen in the apartment was like a culinary playground for us. We whipped up delicious meals and felt like MasterChefs in our own little cooking show.
Unusual internal layout: The layout of the apartment was a bit quirky, as mentioned in other reviews. However, it added to the charm and gave us a unique experience in the heart of Old Town.

Great value for money, lovely apartment with comfortable beds and excellent lounge and kitchen facilities. The host were very good by providing toiletries, tea & coffee, wine & beer, cakes, and nibbles. The location couldn't be better, with easy access to all the attractions in the city and amenities nearby. The host was also helpful and provided all the necessary information for a smooth check-in, despite our late arrival.
Food for breakfast could be improved with a wider variety of options and additional condiments.

Great location! It was so convenient to have the apartment centrally located, making it easy to pop back throughout the day. The kitchen facilities were also a plus, allowing us to cook meals when we didn't feel like eating out. The beds were comfortable and the host provided nice toiletries, tea and coffee, and even some treats like wine and beer.
The bedroom setup was a bit odd and may not be the best for groups of friends. The interlinked bedrooms and curtain separating them didn't offer much privacy.

The apartment is located in a quiet street yet very central, making it convenient for exploring the city on foot. the beds are comfortable and there are two full bathrooms, providing convenience for a large group. the host is attentive and provides thoughtful touches like toiletries, tea and coffee, and even wine and beer.
The building has a mix of residents and rental units, which might not match the expectations of some guests.

The apartment was absolutely delightful! The bedrooms were cozy and the flat-screen TV was perfect for some late-night relaxation. I loved having an equipped kitchen with a microwave and fridge. It made it so easy to whip up a quick meal or store leftovers. The fact that there were 2 bathrooms with showers was such a bonus! No more waiting in line when getting ready in the mornings. Having a washing machine in the apartment was a lifesaver. I could keep my clothes fresh and clean throughout my stay. The location was perfect for me as a nature lover. It allowed me to be in touch with the beautiful surroundings Edinburgh has to offer.
Personally, I found the washing machine a bit noisy. But I understand that others may not mind it at all.
